Rogelio Nava Jr., age 21, passed away January 1, 2022, in San Diego, Texas. He was born February 1, 2000, in Arlington, Texas to Rogelio Nava Sr. and Vanessa Garza. Rogelio had a love for music and cooking. He was a loving person who loved helping others, taking selfies, enjoyed family time, and had an unconditional love for his children. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Eladio and Maria Valadez.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Bryanna Vela of San Diego; children, twins, Rogelio Desmond Nava of Alice and Revalyn Breanne Nava of San Diego, and Lucio Gonzalez; mother, Vanessa Garza Lopez (Hector) of Alice; father, Rogelio Nava Sr. (Mayra Herrera) of Alice; brothers, Memphis Nava (Nadia Torres) and Fabian Nava both of Alice; sisters, Evelyn Nava (Leo Sanchez), Angeles Nava, Nayeli Nava Herrera all of Alice; maternal grandparents, Jose Orlando and Minerva Garza of Alice, Rodolfo and Elia Perez of Alice; paternal grandparents, Johnny Abran Nava Sr. and Virginia Vasquez Nava of Alice; maternal great-grandparents, Elva Garza of Alice; paternal great-grandparent, Elida Vasquez of Tecolote of Alice; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. till 2 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held at 2 p.m. that same day. Burial to follow at Alice Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Hector Lopez, Rogelio Nava Sr., Luis Morin, Jose O. Garza Jr., Robert Rivera, and Memphis Nava. Honorary pallbearer will be Fabian Nava.
