Alice – Yolanda Garcia Trevino, age 83, passed away January 30, 2022 in Alice, Texas. She was born June 6, 1938 in Alice, Texas. Yolanda enjoyed listening to music and dancing. She was fond of Tejano music and later enjoyed listening to country. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cristoba and Josefina Garcia; son, Roel Trevino; sister, Edna Garcia; and grandson, Daniel Emilio Charles.
Yolanda is survived by her children, Ramiro Trevino of Benavides, Sonia Lobes (David) of Chicago, Illinois, Viola Charles of San Antonio, Edna Falcon (Michael Kevin Reynolds) of Alice, Josefina Trevino of Brownsville, and Rocky Trevino (Jeanette) of Florida; grandchildren, Melissa Demern (Deacon), David Lobes Jr., Michael Charles, Angela Nicole Charles, Emily Ann Charles, Noe Falcon Jr., Nelda Lee Falcon, Jolee Fette, Adan Lee Hernandez, and Adrian Hernandez; great-grandchildren, Mario Falcon, Noah Falcon, Evan Martinez, Paul Martinez Jr., Liam Martinez, Lexa Martinez, DeMarcus Charles, DeAndrea Charles, DeErick Charles, DeEvyan Charles, Daniel Emilio Charles Jr., and Arrow Demern; 4 nieces and nephews, 8 great nieces and great-nephews; numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary being recited at 10:30 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. that same day followed by a burial at Barrera Cemetery.
