Alice – Ramiro Resendez passed away February 4, 2022. He was born February 22, 1964, in Alice, Texas to Marcelo Resendez and Elva Riviera Resendez. He was 57.
Ramiro enjoyed barbequing and listening to music with a cold one in hand. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and a Spurs Fan. His biggest love was spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elva Rivera Resendez,
Ramiro is survived by his children Jason (Brian) Resendez, Heather (Rudy) Leal, Amelva Resendez (Justin Sanchez); grandchildren, Kira, Rocky, Aubriella, Owen, Lillian, Elaina; father, Marcelo (Dolores) Resendez. Other survivors include his brother, Rolando (Sheila) Resendez; sister, Bertha (Ruben) Rodriguez; nephews and nieces, Eric (Ronni) Resendez, Brian (Yvette) Resendez, Veronica (Dave) Resendez, Thomas L. Rodriguez and a special cousin, brother, bestfriend, Rick Ortiz.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. A visitation will resume Wednesday, February 9, 2022 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a mass to be celebrated at 10 am. Burial will follow at the St. John of the Cross Cemetery in Orange Grove, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Gutierrez, Eric Resendez, Brian Resendez, Thomas Rodriguez, Rick Ortiz, Elizardo Gutierrez Jr., Israel Garcia and Paul Rivera. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Ortiz and Fernie Jasso.
