Julio Valentin Salinas
San Diego – Julio Valentin Salinas, 58 years of age was called home on Sunday, February 2, 2022, in a Corpus Christi hospital due to Covid-19. He was a truck driver, who enjoyed traveling throughout the whole United States. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Salinas; his mother, Crisanta Hernandez; stepfather, Pedro Hernandez; two brothers, Jesus “Jessie” Salinas and Pedro Eloy Salinas; one sister, San Juanita “Janie” Wheeler; one brother-in-law, Gabriel B. Cantu Sr. and one nephew, Roberto Davila Sr.
Survivors include four brothers, Rodolfo Davila Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas, Juan Manuel (Christina) Salinas Sr. of Agua Dulce, Texas, David (Norma) Salinas Sr. and Daniel Salinas Sr. both of San Diego, Texas; four sisters, Margarita (Ramon) Gonzalez of Alice, Texas, Rosie Suarez Llanes, Maria Estella Salinas, and Virginia (+Gabriel) Cantu of San Diego, Texas. Other Survivors include numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends and relatives at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, February 21, 2022, at Rosas Funeral Home. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. that evening. Services will conclude at the Funeral Home Chapel following the Prayer Service.
