David Louis Carrillo, Sr.
David Louis Carrillo, Sr passed away peacefully on Monday, February 28, 2022, and was born in Freer, Texas on January 8, 1946 to his parents, Adalberto and Genoveva Carrillo. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
David was a hardworking family man whose main goal was to provide for the needs of his family. He had proudly served his country in the United States Army and had worked in the oilfield industry most of his life. He enjoyed being outdoors ranching and caring for his cattle. David also enjoyed football; especially, the Dallas Cowboys Football team.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Adalberto and Genoveva Carrillo.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 53 years, Irma Carrillo; son, David (Carrie) Carrillo Jr; grandchildren, David Louis “Trey” Carrillo, III, and Hayden Carrillo; sisters, Mary Reyes and Inez Ramirez; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Trevino Funeral Home Alice, 120 E. Front St, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM; with Liturgy of the Word beginning at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, TX.
