David Ricardo Garcia, 62 years of age passed away on April 01, 2022 at Christus Shoreline Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. He passed peacefully surrounded by those who loved him dearly with his wife Linda and his God daughter Becky at his bedside and other family members in the room. David, known to family and longtime friends as Ricky, was born November 17, 1959, in Abilene, Texas. Adopted at the age of 6 months by Rev. Ernesto Garcia and Isaura Sanchez Garcia, they brought him into a Christian home and was raised in the ways of God and his mighty promises. He was taught that nothing was impossible and that all the riches of the earth had already been promised him. With his strong faith he faced the world daily and always knew that he had a praying family at home.
A visitation will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 5 pm to 8 pm with a prayer service to begin at 7 pm at the Templo De Liberacion Church in Alice, Texas. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10 am at the Templo De Liberacion Church in Alice, Texas with burial to follow in Old Collins Cemetery.
