Ernesto Jose Flores “Lowrider”, age 46, passed away March 30, 2022 in Alice, Texas. He was born October 19, 1975 in Alice, Texas. He had a love for working on cars and cruising around. He was a family-oriented man who loved his children dearly and enjoyed movie nights, outdoor camping and fishing with his boys. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother who raised him, Maria Liandra Rios; grandparents, San Juanita Sanchez and Ernesto Eziquiel Flores; and uncle, Reyes H. Sanchez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Blanca E. Flores of Alice; four children, Dezaray Lynn Villarreal of Corpus Christi, Ernesto Jose Flores Jr. of Alice, Alejandro Julian Flores of Alice, and Matthew Jacob Flores of Alice; mother, Blanca A. Flores of Alice; sister, Marie Mendoza (Domingo) of Alice; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 from 5 till 9 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that evening. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Roberson Collins Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ernesto Flores Jr., Dylan Joel Mendoza, Domingo Mendoza III, Ramses Campos Jr., Angel Rios, and Michael Olivares.
