Ricardo Garcia, age 59, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, November 7, 2022 in Alice, Texas. He was born on March 15, 1963 in Alice, Texas to Santos Garcia, Sr. and Englantina Cadena.
Rick was a very crazy, caring man. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, no matter who you were, whether it be a friend or family. He was a jack of all trades, from paint and body work and a handyman, to operating heavy equipment.
He loved being with his family and friends, barbequing, hunting, camping, fishing, and drinking ice cold beer. He spent his last days eating everything he wanted and hanging out at the ranch, with his family and friends, drinking an ice-cold bud light.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Haizley Fayth Garcia; brothers, Edmundo, Sr., Mario and Orlando Garcia and sisters, Gloria Ann Garcia, and Baby Garcia.
Ricardo is survived by his son, Jonathan (Samantha) Garcia; daughter, Andrea (William) Park; grandchildren, Alayah, Neriah, Bailey, Jake, Zaylah, Jonivan and Jayzian; brothers, Hector Garcia, Santos (Yolanda) Garcia, Jr., Joe (Pris) Garcia and Gilbert Garcia, Sr.; sisters, Diana (Robert) Garza and Elvira (Eloy) Martinez and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St, Alice, Texas 78332. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Christian Burial will follow at Garcia Cemetery in Palito Blanco, Texas.
