Felicia “Feli” Marlena Garcia of Alice, Texas passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 39. Felicia will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Feli had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. She loved spending time with family and friends. Feli was fun-loving and had a love for the ocean and waves, some of her greatest experiences were her trips to Hawaii. Feli was a cook by profession and was currently employed by Texas Hot Dog Co. in Alice, TX. She loved and enjoyed cooking for family, friends, and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Felma S. Garcia; maternal grandparents, Serapio Serna, Sr. and Aurora (Core) Serna; paternal grandparents, Manuel O. Garcia, Sr. and Guadalupe Garcia; and uncles, Manuel “Kito” Garcia Jr., Mario R. Garcia, and Rene Arredondo.
Left behind to cherish her memories are her father, Ruben R. Garcia Sr.; brothers, Ruben R. Garcia Jr. (Cecilia) and Ronaldo S. Garcia (Lauren); uncles and aunts, Serapio Serna (Rosa Linda), Julian “Pee Wee” Serna (Rosario), Mario Serna (Nelda), Maria Arredondo, Romeo R. Garcia (Betty), and Dolores Fenters (Rick); nieces and nephews: Ruben III, Alya, Ryan, Margo, Remy, and many cousins. She leaves behind Shots, her beloved dog and companion.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, at St. Joseph Catholic Church; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 9:30 AM. A mass of Christian Burial will be held that same day at 10:30 AM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at New Collins Cemetery.
