YOLANDA MEDINA Alice, Texas – Yolanda Medina, 74, passed away April 12, 2023, in Alice, Texas. She was born February 8, 1949, in Alice to Santos Jose and Amanda Herrera. Yolanda enjoyedtaking trips to Louisiana and gambling. She was an avid Alice Coyote fan who enjoyed attending football games every Friday with her son Ray. Yolanda was known to many for her funny, happy character who also enjoyed dancing. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Santos Jose and Amanda Herrera; and husband, Nicolas Medina. Yolanda is survived by her children, Miguel Ramirez, Chris Christopher Medina (Leslie), David Medina (Ana Sanchez), Santos Medina, and Ray Reyna; two brothers, Joe Herrera (Rosie) and Eddie Herrera (Sylvia); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation was held Monday, April 17, 2023, from 12 until 1:30 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary beginning at 1:30 p.m. followed by a funeral at 2 p.m. Services concluded in the chapel.
