Pedro (Pete) Torres, 64, a man of undeniable strength, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 13, 2023, in Round Rock, Texas. Born on December 15, 1958, in San Diego, Texas, he was a loving and proud father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He worked in the oil field for many years. He was an avid fan of the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. Always enjoyed times spent at the Torres Ranch with family. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Facundo Torres Jr., Diana Barrera Torres, brother, Facundo Torres III, and one nephew, Pedro Infante Jr. His memory will always be cherished by his daughters, Amanda (Kenneth) Fernandez of Warner, Okla., Audrey (Jorge) Rosales of Round Rock; grandkids, Miranda Garcia, Michael Mechell Jr., and Mileah Walters; his sisters, Carolina Zamora, Sylvia Workman, Viola Trejo, Lydia (Pedro) Infante, Ernesta (Leopoldo, Jr.) Lopez, Diana (Esbardo) Alaniz, and Adelaida Garza; and numerous nieces and nephews. Burial and funeral arrangements will be at Torres Cemetary in La Parrita, Texas at a later date.
