ALICE – Anna Moreno, age 55, passed away peacefully with family and friends at her hospital bedside in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born in Lubbock, Texas on October 27, 1966, and shortly after began residing in Alice, TX until she gained her heavenly wings on April 3, 2022.
At a very young age, Anna began working and worked diligently as a provider and housekeeper. Anna’s personality will always be remembered as being the energetic, outgoing, spontaneous, and always ready to have fun individual that she was. Anna always made her presence known by her loud laughing and ready to help anyone in need personality.
Anna was preceded in death by her GRANDPARENTS-Tomas and Barbarita Moreno-who raised her as their daughter, FATHER-Enrique (Henry) Garcia, BROTHER-Lonnie Davila, NEPHEW-Ben Cruz and her CAMPANION-Marie Garcia. Anna is survived by her MOTHER-Corina Gon
Anna is survived by her MOTHER-Corina Gonzalez of Alice, TX; DAUGHTERS – Larissa Moreno of San Antonio and Marizza Moreno of Alice, TX, SISTERS – Linda (Leon) Netro, and Maryann (Joe Ontiveros) Moreno of Alice, TX, and Angel (Miguel) Robledo of San Antonio, TX; BROTHERS – Albert Rivera, Robert Rivera and Salvador Gutierrez of Alice, TX; GRANDSON-Lundon Sanchez, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Anna will also be deeply missed by her pet dogs “Baby de Mamas” and “Shorty”.
A viewing service will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 beginning at 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home with a final farewell prayer to begin at 2 p.m.
