Annabel Valdez Trevino went to be with the Lord on March 29th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was 59 years old. She was born in Alice Texas on December 27th 1964 to Valentin and Edna T. Valdez. Annabel is a part of the graduating class of 1983. She was a devoted member of San Diego Family Worship Center, always willing to serve in the church. Annabel was always willing to lend a hand to any one who asked; she never said no.
She enjoyed going to church, spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Annabel was a devoted wife to Jesus Trevino for 40 years, sharing a bond built on love, respect, and unwavering support. Together, they created a home filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. Annabel’s hobbies include sewing, doing arts and crafts with her grandchildren, having family gatherings at her house where she shared her passion for cooking
delicious meals for her loved ones, and taking family trips. Throughout her life, Annabel brought joy, kindness, and warmth to all who knew her. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and selfless nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Annabel will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she may no longer be with us, the love and memories she shared will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing she was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Annabel is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents. Parents, Valentine and Edna T Valdez. Her two brothers Genero Valdez, and Juan Gilberto Valdez. Her in-laws, Lorenzo and Oralia Trevino. Brother in laws Ricardo Martinez, and Arturo Cortez. Nephew Ricardo Martinez Jr. And Son in Law Rene S. Gonzalez.
She is Survived by the love of her life, Jesus Trevino of 40 years. Her brother Omar Valdez. Her Children Jesse Daniel (Joanna) Trevino, Brenda (the late Rene) Gonzalez, Chriselda (Jacob) Cantu, and Jessica (Jon) Silva. Her grandchildren whom she adored with all of her heart Jazlyn Trevino, Joshua Trevino, Rene Gonzalez Jr, Riley Gonzalez, Braylee Gonzalez, Arabella Cantu, Aria Cantu, Levi Cantu, and Jeniyah Silva. And numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends who were near and dear to her heart.
Visitation will be held at 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Garza Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, at San Diego Family Worship Center, 300 S. Trevino St. in San Diego, Texas. Interment will follow at San Diego Cemetery II in San Diego, Texas.
