Antonio Samuel Moreno, 52, passed away October 26, 2023, in Alice. He was born March 9, 1971, in Dallas, Texas, to Abelardo Smith Moreno and Armantina Garcia. Antonio had a love for playing baseball and football, but his passion as an adult was playing pool. He would travel to compete in many tournaments. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Abelardo Smith Moreno; and maternal grandparents, Alfredo and Beatrice Garcia. He is survived by his children, T.J. Moreno and Christian Moreno; mother, Armantina Garcia of Alice; sister, Monica Renee Moreno of Dallas; brother, Juan Orlando Garcia (Darlene) of Henderson, Nev.; aunts and uncles, Diana Gomez of Alice, Martha Orem (Ernest) of Alice, Elma Garcia (Allen) of Henderson, Alfredo Garcia Jr. (Juana) of Alice, and Mauricio Garcia (Grace) of Alice; one niece, Cecilia Monique Bermum of Corpus Christi, Texas. A memorial mass will be held Monday, November 27, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Alice Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted with ROSAS FUNERAL HOME, INC.
