BRIAN WADE PIERCE Brian Wade Pierce, age 64, entered eternal rest May 4, 2024 in Corpus Christi, Texas surrounded by his family. He was born December 26, 1959 in Alice, Texas to Edwin Taylor Pierce and Floy Crisp Pierce. He enjoyed an adventurous childhood which included climbing inside the pyramids in Egypt and riding his pet donkey in Peru. Brian worked in the oilfield industry his entire career. He was a jack of all trades. Brian, alongside his wife Elida, built their home they shared together. Brian had many visions for his future; many of those becoming a reality. He was a family man who enjoyed the outdoors. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and being around his animals. Brian will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his enjoyment tending to his chickens and roosters, and pestering many of his family members through his sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Taylor Pierce and Floy Crisp Pierce; and a brother, George Ellis Pierce. He is survived by his loving wife, Elida “Elly” Estrada Pierce of Alice; children, Marcia Lea Garcia (Oscar) of Orange Grove, Brian Pierce Jr. (Perla) of Corpus Christi, Steven Pierce (Alicia) of Woodville, Jessica Marie Moreno (Noe) of Corpus Christi, Jason E. Cadena (Rebecca) of Alice, Joe Cadena (Roseanne) of Katy, and Jesus Cadena Jr. of Beeville; siblings, Edwin Taylor Pierce Jr. (Becky) of Granbury, Kathy Kilsby (Steve) of Conroe, and Robert Pierce (Barbara) of Alice; 19 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his furbaby, Roxie. Visitation will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 beginning at 5 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel with a prayer service to be held at 7 p.m. that evening. Services to conclude in the chapel.
