Alice – Daniel Soliz, age 46, passed away February 2, 2022 in Lamesa, Texas. He was born May 6, 1975 in Houston, Texas to Domingo Fidel Soliz and Sylvia Valdez Soliz. Daniel worked as a superintendent for Hellas Construction. His favorite activities involved spending time with family and friends, especially his children. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed having cookouts, and making memories with his granddaughter. Daniel’s life priorities included being the best dad he could possibly be for his three children, taking care of his loved ones, and being sure he never met a stranger by always leading with kindness.
He was preceded in death by his father, Domingo Fidel Soliz.
He is survived by his children, Dr. Daniel Soliz Jr., Felicia Marie Soliz, and Maria Aurora Soliz; siblings, Domingo Solis Jr., Selina Maria Gonzalez, Rachel Molina, and Jennifer Agueda Soliz; Mother; Sylvia Valdez Soliz; grandchild, Azaliyah Soliz; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 5 till 9 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with a holy rosary being recited at 7 p.m. that evening. A visitation will resume Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at Rosas Funeral Home with a funeral mass following at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Roberson Collins Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Daniel Soliz Jr., Domingo Solis Jr., Kevin James Alaniz, Ricky Molina, Ricky Molina Jr., and Daniel Monsevais Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Felicia Marie Soliz and Maria Aurora Soliz.
