David O. Everett, 58 years of age, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Alice, Texas on May 22, 1965 to his parents, Oscar and Dalia Everett. He was a 1982 graduate of Benavides High School. David was formerly employed by Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and was currently employed by YSL-Giorgio Armani and Beauty Fragrances. He was an expert judge in the pageantry industry! So many flocked to David, for advise, direction and guidance. He assisted so many young ladies, and entertainers, groomed them to perfection, and many crowns were won, thanks to David Everett!
David’s many awards include, “The National Seat Award”, for Giorgio Armani Cosmetics!
500 Armani special guests, and he stood there, with many guests from France! He was presented his award, he heard people chuckle, but later learned that they loved his speech, and him, his emotions were endearing! David worked with, La Mer, Armani, Chanel, Yves St Laurent, he had many talents, helping people was his passion! He has earned his wings, he will be greatly missed, he was loved by all!
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dalia Chapa.
David is survived by his father, Oscar (Sylvia) P. Everett of Benavides, Texas; his sister, Belinda Everett-Lerma(Nestor) of Benavides, Texas; his brother, John E. Everett (Aracelis) of Benavides, Texas; nieces and nephews, Eric Perez, Katrina Perez, John Everett Jr. (Evelyn), K’Lynn Everett; grand nieces and nephews, Ethan Vasquez, Hailey Perez, Darren Martinez, Eli Everett, and Jak’Lynn Gonzalez.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Garza Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. that evening. Rites of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Garza Funeral Home Chapel in San Diego, Texas. Interment will follow at Everett Cemetery in Benavides, Texas.
