After finishing high school, Dora met and fell in love with the Late Ezequiel Mora Jr., a postal clerk with the United States Postal Service. They married on February 5, 1956 and soon after, they were blessed with their daughter, Rosavel (Rosie)Mora. Two years later, their son Mario Ernesto Mora was born and a year later their second son Atzin Mora completed the family.
Dora was a career woman and settled into working for Zales and Prescription Pharmacy. Soon after her artistic and creative drive landed her with Home Interior Designs where she retired at the age of 55. Dora retired but did not slow down. She enjoyed many travels and was an active grandmother.
Dora’s family wants to extend their heartfelt appreciation to her home caregivers, Marivel Renteria and Jacquelyn Gonzalez for their love & companionship. The family also wants to thank Joe Escobar and family for the care and friendship you have extended has been an immeasurable blessing.
Dora is survived by her loving daughter, Rosavel Mora and two wonderful sons Mario Mora and Atzin (Nori) Mora. Dora had eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren whom will miss her dearly.
At Dora’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, she asked that friends and loved ones attend a baseball game which was a huge part of Dora’s life and don’t give her no chicken feed.
