Evette Martinez passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 33. She was a loving daughter, companion, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed.

Martinez; also, maternal aunts and uncles: Adelaida Smithwick, Francisco Garcia, Juan Garcia, Gilbert Herrera, Apolonio Herrera, and Jesus Garcia Jr.; and Nephew, Mark Garcia Jr.
Left behind to cherish Evette’s memories are her companion, Adrian Estrada; children, Emily and America Garza; and grandchildren, Sebastian and Gabriella Estrada; her loving father, Francisco Martinez (Mary Ybarra); two sisters, Clara Martinez (Victor Alvarez) and Crystal Martinez (Jaime Soto); one brother, Francisco Martinez, Jr. (Jailyn Carabajal ); nieces and nephews: Victor Jr., Nicholas and Pearl Alvarez, Ulises and Arianna Fajardo, Noah Martinez, Matteo Soto, Francisco III and Jaclynn Martinez; maternal aunts, Beatrice Garza, Oralia Contreras, Juanita Ontiveros, and Tina Herrera McCarty (Cleveland McCarty); paternal aunts, Vicky Seguara and Chencho Martinez Davila; maternal uncles, Oscar Garcia and Antonio Garcia; and many, many cousins and friends who all love and cherish her dearly.
Evette enjoyed music and she enjoyed singing and dancing with her children and grandchildren. She cherished all moments spent with her children, grandkids, and family sitting around telling stories and jokes laughing and bonding at family get-togethers and cook outs. Oh how she loved to cook a good meal for her loved ones.
What she will always be remembered for the most was her enormous and generous big beautiful heart.
Her love was so grand and open for all who knew her. She was so much like her mother, Maria Martinez. Evette would always take care of anyone who needed her to, she was incredibly selfless and would give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it more. She was so very strong willed and strong hearted; one of the most capable, loving, and enduring and she was very witty and humorous. Evette’s smile and laugh would light up an entire room and bring a childlike innocence and loving presence. She has truly touched many and will be greatly missed and forever seen as an angel in heaven’s embrace.
