IGNACIO RUBEN GOMEZ Arlington, Texas – Ignacio Ruben Gomez entered eternal rest January 31, 2023 at the age of 18. He was born October 8, 2004 in Arlington to Freddie Gomez Sr. and Teresa Davila. Ignacio loved swimming, dancing, listening to music and had a joking character who loved playing around. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe Gomez Sr. and Virginia Gomez, maternal grandfather, Ruben Davila; nephew, Solomon Gomez; uncles and aunts, Margarita Martinez, Antonio Davila, Lilly Ruiz, Joe Gomez Jr., and James Gomez. He is survived by his parents, Freddie Gomez Sr. and Teresa Davila of Arlington; one brother, Freddie Gomez Jr. of Mesquite, two sisters, Melinda Gomez and Emythsti Gomez, both of Arlington; maternal grandmother, Maria Davila (Espiridion “Pete” Perez) of Alice; nieces and nephews, Savannah Gomez, Azenett Gomez, Freddie Gomez III, Elliott Gomez, Emily Gomez, Emmanuel Gomez, Eliana Gomez, and Evelyn Torres; aunts and uncles, Jose Ruben Davila Jr., Juan Davila, Graciela Davila, and Diana Nunez. Family will begin receiving friends Wednesday, February 15, 2023 beginning at 5 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel in Alice. A memorial rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. followed by a funeral that same day at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel. Services to conclude after the funeral.
