Isaiah James Joslin
Isaiah James Joslin, age 24, passed away October 17, 2021 in Alice, Texas. He was born July 2, 1997 in Alice, Texas to Ruben and Suzanne Joslin. Isaiah enjoyed swimming, studying, and exercising at the gym. He was always up to playing games, was a family-oriented person, and had a gift for playing the piano. He was known to love the outdoors and hunting at the ranch – which he was good at his survival skills. He will forever be remembered for his adventurous character and his kind heart. Isaiah will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Diana Chapa.
Isaiah is survived by his parents, Ruben James and Suzanne C. Joslin of Alice; one brother, Nathan James Joslin of Alice; two sisters, Haley Naomi Joslin and Melanie Estelle Joslin both of Alice; paternal grandparents, Rene and Noemi Joslin of Alice; maternal grandparents, Santiago and Estela Chapa of Alice; aunts and uncles, Rene Joslin Jr., Sandy Harrell (James), Roel Joslin, Nora Arnold, Santiago Chapa Jr. (Maricela) and Belinda Franco (Jose); numerous cousins, extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 10 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will continue at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a rosary to be recited at 8 p.m. that evening. On Monday, October 25, 2021 visitation will begin at 11 a.m. at Rosas Funeral Home. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. for a funeral mass celebration at St. Joseph Catholic Church beginning at 2 p.m. Burial to follow at Amor Eterno Cemetery in Alice.
Pallbearers will be Cristian Enrique Valenzuela, Esai Gabriel Ruiz, Juan Miguel Villa, Saul Omar Martinez Jr., Nathan James Joslin, Horacio Mendoza, David Rosas, and Daniel Rosas.
