Adan Davila
Adan Davila went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2021 at the blessed age of 82. Adan was born on December 22, 1938 in Alice, Texas. Adan has reunited with his parents Felipe and Dolores Davila; brothers Roberto, Oscar, Rogelo, and Condrado Davila, daughter Maria Elena Ybarra.
Adan is loved and will be missed by his many family and friends. Left to cherish his memories is his wife of forty-three years Amelia S. Garza; children Esmeralda Davila Robledo Esparza (Johnny), Nelda Flores, Sylvia Davila Adame (Margarito), Martin Davila (Jodie), Luis Davila (Janie), Adan Davila, Reymundo Davila; siblings LiLi Quinones (Jesse), Esperanza Longoria, Estella Trevino, Rosa Davila, Dolores Tijerina (Johnny), Ernesto Davila (Lupita), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Adan worked in agriculture responsible for all crops and livestock that are needed for us to survive. Years later moved to San Antonio, Texas and became a self-contractor. He enjoyed listening to music and had a love for animals. You could always see him treating all animals with respect and care, and singing with his wife, family, and friends. As a result of his friendly and pleasant personality, he was loved by many. Adan was beloved by all and will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 5:30 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Mission Park South Funeral Chapels. Interment to follow at First Memorial Park.
In accordance with CDC safety precautions, everyone is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing in the chapel and at the cemetery. There will be a 100 person maximum allowed in the chapel. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
