Manuel Armando Reyes, 64 years of age, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 27, 2022 in a Corpus Christi hospital. He was born in Flint, Michigan on January 15, 1958 to his parents, Xavier and Mary Reyes. Manuel was a US Army Veteran who proudly served his country during the Vietnam Era. He retired as a diesel mechanic working in the oil field industry all of his life. Manuel was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan who enjoyed spending time at his ranch, barbequing, music, dancing and cooking and especially spending time with his family and friends and he will be sadly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Xavier Reyes.
Manuel is survived by his wife of 44 years of marriage, Maria G. Reyes of Benavides, Texas; his four children, Amanda (Victor) Leal of Freer, Texas; Xerexes “XY” (Jessica) Reyes of Dallas, Texas; Vanessa (Arthur) Thomas of Elk Grove, California; Xavier “Javi” (Nancy) Reyes of Dallas, Texas; his mother, Mary Reyes of Benavides, Texas; two brothers, Miguel (Pamela) Reyes of Michigan; Xavier Reyes Jr. of Alice, Texas; three sisters, Belinda (Reggie) Ford of Manassas, Virginia; Melizza (Greg) Kipple of Benavides, Texas; Susie (Richard) Tallman of Michigan; 11 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Garza Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Garza Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas. Military Graveside Services and Interment will follow at Reyes Cemetery in Benavides, Texas.
