Robert D. “Bob” Terrell
Corpus Christi – Robert D. “Bob” Terrell, age 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 24, 2022 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born 1 of 12 children on April 11, 1933 in Boerne, Texas to George Carl Terrell, Sr. and Dessie Idella Boles.
Bob proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Airforce. He was an electrician with CP&L before retiring from FEMA. Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the VFW for many years. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Joshua Ryan Terrell, siblings, Willis Sylvester Terrell, George Carl Terrell, Jr., Thomas Gene Terrell, Michael Glenn Terrell, and Jimmy Carl Terrell.
Left to cherish their memories of him are his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Lou Davis Terrell of Corpus Christi, Texas; three children, Robert Donald Terrell, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas, Richard Clark (Belinda) Terrell of Alice, Texas, and David Thomas (Amelia) Terrell of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren, David Shawn Terrell, Matthew Curtis (Karena) Terrell, Andrea (Mark) Dominick, and Robert Morgan Terrell; great-grandchildren, Faith Marie Terrell, Jase Terrell, and Gunnar Terrell; siblings, Dessie Clorine Johnson, Naomi Joyce Whitfield, Patricia Eileen Barker, Carlyn Myrle McWhorter, Darlyn Shyrle Bauch, and Jackie Leland Terrell; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel located at 2061 E. Main St. Alice, TX. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
