Roland Lichtenberger, 53, of Freer, Texas, passed away on January 24th 2024, at a San Antonio Hospital after a long illness.
Roland was born on October 21st 1970, to Lubi Lamar & Lionel Lichtenberger in Alice, Texas. After Roland graduated from Freer High School in 1988, he went on to earn his CNA license shortly thereafter. Roland enjoyed his career helping others for many years.
In his spare time, Roland enjoyed fishing, BBQing and trips to Lake Corpus Christi. Roland was a good person with a strong faith in Christ. No matter what obstacles Roland faced in his life, his faith never faltered. He was a good son, brother, and friend. He will truly be missed.
Roland was predeceased by his mother, Lubi Lamar Lichtenberger. He is survived by his father, Lionel Lichtenberger of Freer, Texas; his two sisters, Anna Huerta (Homero) of Kingsville, Texas and Liza Torres of Corpus Christi, Texas; and four nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
