The Alice Independent School District Education Foundation awarded its first grants to William Adams Middle School art teachers Anthony Munoz and Ricardo Mireles, who are incorporating technology into traditional art classes. The grants were awarded by the foundation Tuesday. The AISDEF works to enhance and enrich educational opportunities for students by offering grants to teachers for innovative teaching. Another priority for the foundation is to provide scholarships to students enrolling in a higher learning institution.
