William Max Joslin, Sr.
William Max Joslin, Sr, better known as “Billy”, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18, 2022. Billy was born in Alice, Texas on December 1, 1964 to his parents Oscar Joslin, Sr and Frances Hinojosa Joslin. He was a wonderful son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
He worked in the Oilfield industry most of his life. He enjoyed listening to Tejano Music and loved outdoor activities; especially, fishing and was the #1 fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
He is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Joslin, Sr; daughter, Hermelinda Joslin; and a brother, Ronnie Joslin.
Billy is survived by his mother, Frances Joslin; sons, William Joslin, Jr and Florentino Joslin; daughter, Frances Morales; brother, Oscar Joslin, Jr; sisters, Blanca Joslin, Lannette (Camilo) Garza, Roxane Joslin, and Elizabeth (Michael) Crisman; half-brothers, Ruben Zuniga, Danny Lara, Louie Joslin, and Jimmy Ray Joslin; half-sisters, Anna Joslin, Linda Joslin, and Laura Joslin; five grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.
Mr. Joslin will be interred at Roberson Collins Cemetery in Alice, TX and services are private.
Honoring Billy as pallbearers are Oscar Joslin, III, Louie Joslin, Jr, Michael Crisman, Brian Joslin, Aaron Ayala, and Andrew Ayala.
