Open Mic Anniversary Party

September 1st marks the exact one-year anniversary of open mic. Here I am playing on that magical day for a very small, but VERY DEDICATED crowd.

I want to give a HUGE shout out to @globot2113 for putting me in touch with @joewalvarez one year ago!

Gloria, your support, enthusiasm, and kindness helped make open mic happen! Thank you so much for looking out for me and the people of Alice.

isn’t it wild that it’s been a whole year?! Thanks for letting me put this on at your space every Thursday and carry out all my little weird and very particular ideas. You’re the absolute best!

Open mic has grown so much in just a year. But mostly, I’ve grown because of it! Because of all of you lovely people. Thanks for making it possible.
